(Estherville)--An Estherville business on Wednesday was officially presented with its Small Business of the Week honor. Sievert’s Furniture and Floors was announced as the winner of the award in April by U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee. The honor was presented by Colby DeWitt, Outreach Director for Ernst Sioux City Office who read from the proclamation.
DeWitt says Sieverts was started more than 55 years ago.
Throughout the 119th Congress, Ernst is recognizing a small business in each of Iowa's 99 counties. Wednesday’s presentation was delayed in hopes Ernst could attend in person. DeWitt says the proclamation is part of the permanent Congressional record.
