(Jackson, MN)--A Jackson man is facing charges after a domestic incident earlier this month.
45-year-old Francis Perez-Callado is charged with a felony count of false imprisonment and domestic assault,
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy spoke with a victim on October 15th after a domestic assault was reported. The victim reportedly told the deputy that Perez-Callado had held them down, bruising their arm, and blocked the doorway when they tried to leave. He let them go when they threatened to call law enforcement.
The next day, officers spoke with Perez-Callado, who reportedly said he felt threatened by the victim and they had thrown a laundry basket at him.
Perez-Callado is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Jackson County Fifth District Court.
