(Estherville)--An Estherville company announced plans to expand Thursday during a manufacturing month event put on by the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation. PDU Cables CEO Troy Peterson says the company has grown rapidly in the past year.
Peterson says PDU Cables has outgrown its current facility at 108 South 18th St.
Peterson says the new facility will employ another 70 to 80 people while keeping the current facility open. The 60-thousand square foot building is located at 602 South 1st St. Peterson says PDU builds cables for one industry.
Peterson says they ship cables nationwide. Iowa Lakes Corridor President Curt Strouth attended the announcement.
