(Estherville)--The Emmet County Board of Supervisors Tuesday heard the annual funding request from the Family Crises Centers. Terry Feather is Development Director for the Family Crises Centers. Feather says they help individuals facing violence and harm.
Family Crises Centers serves 28 counties in Western Iowa. Feather says there is a great need for services provided by the Family Crises Centers in Emmet County.
The Family Crises Centers is requesting $6,000 for the next fiscal year. Last year they requested $6,000 and received $5,000 from the county.
