(Estherville)--The Estherville Police/AFSCME Council 61, Estherville Public Works Local 3651, and the City of Estherville will exchange first proposals for the 2027-28 Police and Public Works labor agreements later this month. The meeting will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28th in the Council Room of the City Offices, 2 North 7th Street in Estherville.
Under Iowa law, this meeting shall be open to the public. After the exchange of proposals, the two negotiating teams will start private negotiations in an attempt to come to a voluntary settlement.
