
(Armstrong)--The Armstrong Benefited Fire Department will host a fundraiser supper on Saturday in observance of National Fire Prevention Week.
The event will be held from 4 to 7 pm at the Armstrong Fire Hall. The menu will feature a steak sandwich, baked beans, chips a bar and a drink for a free will offering.
Proceeds will be used to help the department continue replacing and updating the equipment firefighters depend on when responding to emergencies. One of the department’s priorities is the replacement of four air packs and masks. Each air pack costs about $10,000.
