(Arnolds Park)--An “Abbie Walkabout” will be held this(Thursday) evening at the Abbie Gardner Cabin in Arnolds Park. Mary Drier with the Friends of the Abbie Gardner Cabin says the event will begin at 6 pm.
Drier says most of the stories presented will be about Abbie Gardner’s life after the Spirit Lake Massacre of March 1857.
The event is free and pre-registration is not required. Drier says in case of inclement weather, those interested should check the Friends of Abbie Gardner Facebook page for updates.
