(Jackson, MN)--The city of Jackson says announced that due to repeated vandalism and damage to the bathrooms at Albertus Field, officials have decided to lock the bathrooms for the remainder of the season.
In a Facebook post, the city says maintenance crews work very hard to keep these facilities clean, safe, and available for everyone to use. Unfortunately, despite posting notices asking for the vandalism to stop, the damage has continued.
The post goes onto say the city understands this closure is an inconvenience for families and visitors using Albertus Field, and they appreciate the public’s understanding.
