(Estherville)--Mediacom is reporting a fiber line cut this(Friday) morning south of Estherville on Highway 4.
Emmet County Emergency Management Director Travis Sheridan says that cable television, internet and possibly cell phone service will be affected by the fiber line cut. Sheridan says it’s unknown at this time if 911 service will be impacted.
Sheridan says Mediacom crews were on their way to the scene and hope to have repairs completed by this afternoon.
