(Fairmont, MN)--Monday was the last day on the job for outgoing Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce President Kandi Menne.
Menne first joined the organization in 2015 as office manager before taking over as president in the fall of 2022. During her tenure, Menne revamped the Fairmont Area Life visitor guide, and oversaw a rebranding that included a new logo and website. She also helped launch several community events, including the annual Sip and Shop fundraiser and the Fourth of July boat parade.
Menne, who is retiring, plans to remain in the Fairmont area. Current chamber board member Miranda Tulowetzke will take over as president.
