(Estherville)--In addition to her music, Country music icon Dolly Parton, who passed away earlier this week, was also known for her many philanthropic programs. One of those was the Imagination Library, a free book gifting program that mails high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until age five. The Estherville Public Library joined the program in 2020, according to Library Director Nicole Weber.
Weber says the library has received a lot of local support for the project.
She explains how parents can sign-up their kids for the Imagination Library program.
