(Spirit Lake)--The Spirit Lake City Council has been working on an ordinance regulating scooters, e-bikes and other mobility devices. City Administrator Gregg Owens says the council finished up work on the ordinance at their meeting on Tuesday evening.
He says the major provisions of the ordinance involve speed limits.
Owens details the penalty for violating the ordinance.
He says the city will work to educate the public about the ordinance.
The Spirit Lake City Council will vote on adopting the ordinance at their next meeting on September 8th.
