Manson Man Facing Charges After Recent Motorcycle Accident Near Fenton

(Fenton)--Charges have been filed against a Manson man who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this month north of Fenton.

 

The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Jaden Feddersen was arrested Monday on charges of OWI-1st offense and Possession of a Weapon while Under the Influence.

 

The original report on the August 1st accident says at around 6 pm, Feddersen was driving a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Highway 15 when he passed another northbound vehicle, lost control along a curve and crashed. Fedderson was transported by Air Ambulance to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

 

According to the criminal complaint filed in Kossuth County District Court, Fedderson’s blood-alcohol level was .108, which is above the legal limit. The complaint also says that Feddersen was in possession of a loaded firearm while under the influence.

 

Fedderson was booked into the Kossuth County Jail and released after posting a $2,300 cash bond.
