(Ruthven)--A Des Moines man wanted by authorities in Polk County was arrested Sunday in Ruthven.
Shortly after 3:15 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Rian Risinger, of Des Moines on multiple warrants out of Polk County. Risinger’s warrants were for 1st degree burglary, assault committed by a person against who a protective order is issued, domestic abuse assault-3rd or subsequent offense, operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, false imprisonment, and a contempt violation of a no contact/protective order.
Risinger was arrested in the 1600 block of Bruce St of Ruthven without incident and transported to the Palo Alto County Jail to await his extradition to Polk County.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
