(Arnolds Park)--The "Bras for a Cause" event held this past June at the Peacock Lounge in Arnolds Park was a huge success. According ro a post on the Peacock Lounge Facebook page, $61,372 was raised to support local families battling cancer.
A check for that amount was presented this week to Abben Cancer Center in Spencer for their Patient Needs fund. The post says every dollar raised will directly impact the lives of those facing cancer in our area, offering support, hope, and relief during their journey.
Officials say planning is already underway for the 2027 Bras for a Cause.
