(Algona)--The 2026 Kossuth County Fair is underway in Algona. Morgan Wagner with the Kossuth County Fair Board says there are several new events for this year’s fair.
Wagner says this evening’s schedule includes a free BBQ from 5 to 7 pm, Run, Rope and Tie at the Horse Arena beginning at 7 pm and a concert featuring the Tank Anthony Band from 8 to 11 pm. Wagner says Thursday begins with the Beef Show at 9 am.
She says the Kossuth County Hall of Fame Inductions will take place during the races. Friday begins with the Horse Show at 8 am followed by the annual tractor ride at 8:30.
Wagner says the fair wraps-up with another busy day on Saturday.
