(Algona)--After more than two decades, the economic development partnership between Kossuth and Palo Alto counties has officially been dissolved. Todd Faris, the executive director of the rebranded Kossuth Area Economic Development Corporation, says the head of Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation had requested the separation early this year.

Faris says he and his staff can now focus solely on Kossuth County.
The partnership between Kossuth and Palo Alto counties ended on June 30th.
