(Spencer)--The city of Spencer is addressing social media reports that FLOCK cameras, or cameras that read license plates, are located in the city. Spencer City Manager Kevin Robinson says those reports are false.
Robinson says the cameras on street lights in the downtown area are not FLOCK cameras.
He says it’s difficult for the city to combat false reports of FLOCK cameras on line.
Robinson made his comments at this week’s Spencer City Council meeting.
