(Estherville)--Tiny Treasures Community Daycare has been awarded a $14,000 grant from the Emmet County Community Foundation for a new nature based playground at its Nature Explorers Preschool and Daycare. Michelle Howing with Tiny Treasures says they currently have two playgrounds at Nature Explorers.
Howing explains the focus of the new playground.
She says the new playground will help the preschool obtain certification.
Howing says the $14,000 grant will pay for most of the project.
Nature Explorers is located at 214 West 2nd Avenue North in Estherville. Howing says they hope to begin work on the new playground this fall with completion likely next Spring.
