(Spirit Lake)--Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will offer a series of meetings on farmland leasing arrangements across the state in late July and August. The Emmet, Dickinson, Clay and Palo Alto County extension offices are hosting a Farmland Leasing meeting on August 17th at the Dickinson County Extension and Outreach Office in Spirit Lake. ISU Extension Farm Management Specialist Paul Martin.
The meeting will run from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Martin says one of the main topics that will be discussed during the meeting is communication.
He says this is not an ideal time for landowners to raise rental rates.
