(Spirit Lake)--The Dickinson County Cleanwater Alliance is accepting applications again for the Soil Quality Restoration Program. Cleanwater Alliance Coordinator John Wills explains the purpose of the program.
Wills says the Cleanwater Alliance will pay 75-percent of the cost of a soil quality restoration project and the landowner will pay 25-percent.
Wills says a milestone was recently achieved due to efforts to improve water quality in the Iowa Great Lakes.
