Eight Days of Hope Helps Rebuild Homes, Communities After Disasters

(KILR)--Eight Days of Hope is a national organization that responds to disasters across the country, helping to rebuild homes, communities, and lives. In an interview Wednesday morning on KILR FM 95.9, founder Steve Tybor says Eight Days of Hope started more than 20 years ago.

Tybor says Eight Days of Hope has expanded nationwide since that initial project and now includes four different ministries.

He says over 65,000 volunteers have worked on various projects. They recently completed a project in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Tybor says it’s easy to get involved.
