
(Mankato, MN)--An Algona man was injured in a two vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon near Mankato.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened around 1:55 pm at the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 14.
The Patrol says a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by 25-year-old Zachary Hauptmann of Algona was southbound on Highway 60 attempting to continue to go southbound on 615th Ave. and a 2017 Volvo Tractor driven by 56-year-old Gregory Werner of Niagara, Wisconsin was eastbound on Highway 14. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Hauptmann was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries. Werner was not injured.
