Emmet County Museum Open for 2026 with New Exhibits

(Estherville)--A grand opening for 2026 was held recently at the Emmet County Historical Society Museum located at 1704 3rd Avenue South in Estherville. Museum Board member Roy Gage says a lot of new stuff has been added for visitors to look at.

 

 

 

 

Gage says the Mary Ann Waldron building has a new display called Gasoline Alley.

 

 

 

 

He says there’s also a replica of the Riverside Sinclair station.

 

 

 

 

He says they’ve also added a replica of an old general store in Estherville

 

 

 

 

Gage says the Beemus Brothers building is still used as a house today.

 

 

 

 

Over 300 people attended this year’s grand opening. The museum is open from June through August, seven days a week from 1 to 4 pm. For more information, visit the Emmet County Museum Facebook page. Gage spoke with Dave Van Roekel Tuesday morning on KILR FM 95.9.
