ELC Teachers, Staff Learning About Ways to Improve Literacy

(Estherville)--Teachers and administrators in the Estherville Lincoln Central School District will be spending the summer learning about ways to improve literacy. Last fall, the ELC School District was awarded a five year Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant. ELC Superintendent Andy Armstead says two teams are working on separate aspects of improving literacy.

 

 

 

 

Armstead says another group is working on best practices for literacy intervention.

 

 

 

 

On another topic, Armstead provided a construction update on the stadium entrance project.

 

 

 

 

Armstead made his comments on the ELC Superintendent Spotlight Program which can be heard every Saturday at 8:45 am on KILR FM 95.9.
