(Milford)--One person was sent to the hospital after a two vehicle accident Thursday evening in Milford.
According to the Milford Police Department, the accident occurred shortly before 5:20 pm at the intersection of Highway 71 and 202nd Street in Milford. Police say a 2019 Hyundai Tucson driven by 64-year-old Timothy Jordan of West Des Moines and a 2026 GMC Sierra driven by 37-year-old Codey Christensen of Milford collided at the intersection.
Jordan was transported to Lakes Regional Heathcare in Spirit Lake. No injuries were reported to Christensen. The accident remains under investigation.
The Milford Police Department was assisted on scene by the Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police Departments, Milford and Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire Departments and Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance
