(Estherville)--Iowa Lakes Community College will host auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” on Monday, June 8, the first day of a weeklong summer day camp.  Jessi Strom with the Iowa Lakes Music Department says the Missoula Children’s Theatre puts on productions nationwide.

Strom says auditions will be held next Monday, June 8th at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Students entering grades 1 through 12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary.

Storm says four high school students will have the chance to serve as assistant directors and will assist with backstage responsibilities throughout the week. The Emperor’s New Clothes will be presented Saturday, June 13th at 3 and 5:30 pm at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center.
