Exhibitor Handbooks Available, Entry System Open for Clay County Fair

(Spencer)--The 2026 Open Class Exhibitor Handbooks for all departments at the Clay County Fair are now available, alongside the launch of the online entry system for the Clay County Fair powered by SMU, September 12th–20th

Whether you’re returning to defend a blue ribbon or stepping into the ring for the first time, Open Class competitions across livestock and non-livestock departments offer something for every skill level, interest, and creative pursuit. Exhibitors are encouraged to review department handbooks early to familiarize themselves with rules, categories, and entry details before submitting entries online.

With the online entry system open, participants can begin submitting entries for all Open Class departments. All livestock entries must be submitted online by Monday, August 3rd. A late entry period will run from Tuesday, August 4th, through Monday, August 10th, with a $25 late fee per entry.

Exhibitors are encouraged to visit claycountyfair.com to access department handbooks, review entry requirements, and begin submitting entries through the online system.
