(Lake Park)--The city of Lake Park’s swimming pool will not open this summer. Lake Park Mayor Matt Carstensen says officials recently discovered the pool is in need of some major repairs.
Carstensen says the city is now seeking estimates on the cost to repair the pool.
He says depending on the cost estimates, the Lake Park Council could face a difficult decision on the future of the pool.
The Lake Park city swimming pool opened in 1973.
