(Washington, D.C.)--Iowa farmers are still waiting on Congress to pass a new farm bill. The U.S. House voted to approve a farm bill late last month but the Senate version remains stuck in committee. Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says most of what’s in the House bill could be approved in the Senate.
Grassley says there’s one main sticking point holding up action in the Senate.
He says the rate of fraud in many states is more than double the six percent figure.
