(Estherville)--Iowa Congresswoman and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ashley Hinson was in Estherville Tuesday to tour the Sustainable Energy and Resources Technologies building at Iowa Lakes Community College. After the tour, Hinson said she wanted to learn more about workforce development.
Hinson entered the race for Senate after Joni Ernst announced she would not run for re-election.
Hinson was asked if she supported President Trump’s military action against Iran.
Hinson is running against former State Senator Jim Carlin in the Republican primary. Two candidates are seeking the Democratic nomination: State Senator Zach Walls and State Representative Josh Turek.
