Estherville Council Sets Date for Public Hearing on 2025-2026 Budget Amendment

(Estherville)—During a 10 minute meeting Monday evening, the Estherville City Council mset a public hearing date of May 18th at 5 pm for an amendment to the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year budget. Estherville City Administrator Penny Clayton explains why the amendment is needed.

 

 

 

 

Clayton says the budget amendment is for $3 million.

 

 

 

 

The council also approved a new five year agreement with the Iowa DOT regarding the maintenance and repair of primary roads in municipalities. Clayton says the agreement runs from July 1st, 2026 to June 30th, 2030.
