Two Tagged Fish Caught But No Grand Prize Awarded in Walleye Weekend Contest

(Arnolds Park)--The 44th annual Walleye Weekend wrapped up on Sunday.  Blain Andera with the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber of Commerce says two tagged walleye were caught during the tournament, but neither of them qualified for the $44,000 grand prize.

 

 

 

 

Andera says overall it was another successful Walleye Weekend.

 

 

 

 

In the largest walleye contest, first place and second place tied with a large fish of 26.75”, with the deciding factor being the time they were submitted. Blake Mulder took first and Hunter Gill second. For a complete list of winners, visit the Iowa Great Lakes Walleye Weekend on Facebook.
