Federal Rural Electric Awards Latest Round-Up Grants

(Jackson, MN)--The Federated Rural Electric Trust awarded local organizations $19,092 through the latest round of Operation Round Up grants. These donations occur due to monthly contributions by participating Federated members. 29 groups received money in this 63rd round of funding. A list of the grant recipients can be found on the Federated Rural Electric Facebook page.

 

The Trust Board received 35 applications totaling $74,976 in this 63rd round of funding. The Trust Board will meet again in the fall to determine the next round of funding. Since the first round of funding in 1994, more than $1.4 million has been awarded to local organizations and as high school scholarships.
