Walleye Weekend Set to Get Underway in Iowa Great Lakes

(Okoboji)--The 44th Walleye Weekend gets underway at 12:01 am Saturday in the Iowa Great Lakes. Morgan Strauss with the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber of Commerce says registrations are going well.

 

 

 

 

The registration deadline is tonight at 11:59 pm. Strauss details the grand prize for catching one of the ten specially tagged walleye during the tournament

 

 

 

 

She says several other prizes will also be awarded.

 

 

 

 

Strauss also reminds anglers to register for the extended contest.

 

 

 

 

She says the Walleye Weekend concludes with an awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
