(Spirit Lake)–Firefighters responded to a fire Saturday evening at a Spirit Lake apartment building.
According to a news release, at around 9:20 pm the Spirit Lake Fire Department was called to a report of a structure fire at 607 16th Street. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and fire in a lower level apartment. They quickly extinguished the fire and ventilated the building. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The Spirit Lake Police Department assisted on scene.
