Dickinson County Conservation Awarded $80,000 REAP Grant for Nature Playscape Project

(Okoboji)--The Dickinson County Conservation Board has been awarded an $80,000 Resource Enhancement and Protection or REAP grant, marking a major step forward in fundraising efforts for the Nature Playscape project.

 

For Fiscal Year 2026, REAP will fund a total of 12 projects totaling more than $574,000 with the Dickinson County Conservation project scoring third. The grant will be used towards educational components within the Nature Playscape that promote environmental education, cognitive and sensory development, mental health, social growth, and nature based connection.
