Maci is 9 years old and in Mrs. Arends 4th grade this year at Demoney Elementary.
Maci is the daughter of Brandon and Shanna Carlin

Likes / Interests: Maci has many interests including reading, spending time with my family, volleyball, and basketball.
Quotes from staff/teachers: Maci shows respect to her classmates by always being kind and helpful in the classroom. She works well with everyone and loves to be helpful. When a problem arises Maci works it out with others while still being kind and understanding of others’ feelings. Maci is very respectful in school to her teachers and classmates
Maci was chosen by her grade level to represent the character trait Respect due to her actions in school and in the community. A respectful person lives by the Golden Rule, accepts others who are different, lives and resolves conflicts peacefully, and shows courtesy to all.
When they grow up what they want to be: Veterinarian
Advice for other students: Always be kind to everyone and no bullying. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
How they felt when they heard they received student of the month: I was shocked because I have never been chosen and then I was excited.
What (Respect) means to them-who taught it to them, how they learned it, etc. Respect to me means care for others and treat them nicely. I have seen my parents respect others.
What will their parents say when they hear you are the student of the month: My parents will be surprised and happy and excited.
Favorite part of school: My favorite part is math, pe, art, and my friends.
