Angelique Canales - Lower Elementary Student of the Month

Angelique is 7 years old and in Mrs. Gjerde’s 1st grade this year at Demoney Elementary.

Angelique has many interests including: reading and music, highly interested in doing gymnastics, and really enjoys playing with her dog Charlie

She is a huge talker, and she likes to talk to anybody that comes across her or tries to have a conversation with them. There is never time where you see her sad.
Angelique was chosen by her grade level to represent the character trait respect due to her actions in school and in the community. Angelique is a kind-hearted student who loves to learn. Angelique comes to school everyday with everything she needs for the day. If she needs help she asks the respectful way by raising a quiet hand or using an inside voice. Angelique always does her very best work and role models that to everyone around her.
When they grow up what they want to be: veterinarian
Advice for other students: It’s better to show respect because it shows what type of person you are.
Why they think they got nominated: Because they have showed respect to everybody they have come across.
